Meet the Classic Property Management team!

Classic Property Management was started in 1993 as Classic Property Management of Santa Clarita by Dave McKean. Dave is still the broker. Dave started practicing property management when a real estate client asked him to manage one of his small apartment buildings.

In July of 2005, John Evarts was named Property Manager. In October of 2006, John Evarts was named CEO of Classic Property Management. The company now manages over 100 properties (June 2007). John comes from Oregon, where he worked with two of the top customer-service companies in the country: Outback Steakhouse, and T-Mobile.

In July of 2006, Andrew Powell joined Classic as the Head of Tenant Relations (Leasing agent). Andrew fields the inquiries on the properties, shows the properties to prospective tenants, helps make decisions on applications, and conducts move-ins.

Debbie McKean joined the team late in 2006. Debbie is the glue that holds the office together. She answers phones, greets walk-in guests, manages all of the service requests, negotiates with vendors and home warranty companies, AND keeps all the paperwork in order.

Kristie Fesler also joined the team late in 2006. Kristie works with owners and helps them list their properties for rent. She also covers for Debbie when Debbie isn’t here, and helps Andrew with property showings when needed.

Jon Mitchell is a great, new asset to the team. Jon runs our Antelope Valley operations. With Jon on the team, we are now effectively able to service Lancaster, Palmdale, Rosamond, Mojave, and California City. The Antelope Valley is growing quickly. New industry is boosting the economy. Look for the AV operations to explode.
